what's a blog?:  
Blogging is a rapidly growing trend of online communication. It's actually much older than its name. But what exactly is a 'blog'? It's the abbreviation of Web Log and basically consists of comments, opinions or questions posted on the Net to elicit responses. A blog can be a source of knowledge or a vessel for information. If you can email, you can blog but the difference is, depending upon what you want to say, and who you want to say it to, blogging can be much better and much more than just email.
